Experience Abroad

What use is all the theory if you can't get a taste of the world? We are happy to support you with a stay abroad of at least five days. You can then have this experience abroad credited towards the SprInt certificates "Cultural Expertise" and "Excellence".
Stays abroad are possible at a university, in a company or in an organization as well as at a language school of your choice and come with a crucial advantage: staff mobility programs are financed!“
Use the ERASMUS+ funding to plan your stay abroad. The simple rule is: "Each member of the TUD staff can be funded by the Erasmus Program!"
Stay Abroad in Europe via ERASMUS+ Funding
With a job training abroad you can gain new perspectives and strengthen your competencies! In addition to internationalization, your personal development is of highest priority. You can choose between hospitations, individual job shadowing, study visits, participation in workshops, seminars, International Staff Weeks and language courses.
One- to two-week language courses in Ireland, Great Britain or Malta are particularly popular. Especially with those who have a lot of contact with international students. Campuses are becoming increasingly international, so many take the opportunity to brush up on rusty language skills. With Erasmus+, employees can receive multiple fundings. Some are true Erasmus+ experts after participating in their third language course abroad!
Equally exciting and popular are the so-called International Staff Weeks. International relations, research and development, academic and student affairs, PR and communication, for example, are often topics of these international meetings, which are aimed at members of higher education institutions and are usually held at universities.
Language courses abroad and Staff Weeks offer opportunities to meet like-minded people. Should this option not be individual enough for you, you might want to look into job shadowing at a company or institution abroad.
