WLAN

The wireless network of TU Dresden enables the access to the network through Eduroam or WebVPN. In doing so, apart from the internet access, the use of services which are activated for TUD network becomes possible. For the access to the resources of Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry the use of VPN is needed.

In the building of the Faculty, the providing with WLAN is going to be expanded correspondingly to the demands. The lecture rooms, seminar rooms, and PC-Pools are covered as well. The lounge areas are going to be largely supplied.
New additions last are:

The provision extends to the following areas:

• Neubau Chemie 1. BA: seminar rooms; student lounge area, student representatives, chemical output, food chemistry and subfields of biochemistry and organic chemistry.

• Neubau Chemie 2. BA: lecture rooms, seminar rooms, computer pools, inorganic chemistry in south and west wing.

• Walter-Hempel-Bau: complete coverage

• Erich-Müller-Bau: subfields in Physical Chemistry

• König-Bau: subfields in Physical Chemistry
