Application to the Bachelor's program in Psychology
In Dresden, studies begin each winter semester, and the regular application deadline is July 15 (cut-off date). Psychology is a nationwide numerus clausus subject. The 120 study places in the bachelor's program in psychology in Dresden are allocated 90% according to the Abitur average and 10% according to waiting time. There are 120 study places available in Dresden. You can apply from 01 June via the online application portal of the TU Dresden:
http://tu-dresden.de/studium/organisation/bewerbung_und_immatrikulation
Note on your application: Applicants for an NC study program usually do not have to submit any documents to the online portal at first, unless they want to submit a special application (applications for compensation of disadvantages, hardship cases), are second degree applicants or have already received an admission for a study program at the TU Dresden from the ZVS last year, which they could not start due to the completion of a service. Only in these cases, corresponding applications or proofs must be received by 15. 07. at the place indicated by the online portal. The "normal" applicant must otherwise only apply by entering his or her data in the online portal and will thus participate in the selection process at the end of July. After entering their data, each applicant will receive a printout with their applicant number and with information on the further procedure. Ultimately, only admitted applicants will be asked to submit their documents by a deadline in August. A check is then made to see whether the applicant's information is in order. If entry errors are found, this may result in admission being withdrawn. All applicants will be made aware of this prior to their application.
