dies academicus at the TU Dresden (05.06.2024)
On 5 June 2024, the campus will once again be transformed into a place of exchange across disciplines: see things that would otherwise remain hidden from you. Get to know people you don't normally meet and gain an insight into university commitment. Enjoy the unknown and celebrate the many facets of our university with us at dies academicus. We are bringing together university groups, FSRe and many more - just drop by from 12.00 (probably) in the inner courtyard of the Fritz-Foerster-Building or find out more about our programme here!
Under the motto ‘Move your horizon’, the dies academicus, the DHSZ with its sports festival and the University Health Management with the Day of Health have planned three exciting events as a holiday for body and mind that will inspire you and get you moving.
Holiday instead of a day off
On Wednesday, 5 June 2024, the campus will once again be transformed into a place of exchange across disciplines. Experience our student festival by students for students and get an impression of campus life outside your degree programme. Take advantage of the lecture-free day and see things that otherwise remain hidden from you; meet people you don't normally meet and get an insight into the university's commitment, which is too often only visible in the background.
We bring together the majority of TU Dresden's university groups for you so that you can get to know them easily - we also offer a match maker to give you an initial overview and suggest university groups that match your interests! With the Crime Campus we organise a puzzle hunt together with some student councils, so you can not only discover the campus but also get a playful insight into various disciplines while solving a criminal case. We also offer a free workshop programme that caters for a wide range of interests - whether you are interested in politics, sport or the future, we try to offer something for everyone. The event will be rounded off by a stage programme that will provide a spotlight for student bands, various university sports groups and talented students.
So what are you waiting for? Go beyond your subject, enjoy the unknown and celebrate the diversity of our university with us at dies academicus!
