Barrier-free guidance and orientation system of the TU Dresden at the 3rd Saxon Inclusion Award
On 3 December, the barrier-free guidance and orientation system of the TU Dresden received recognition from the representative of the Saxon state government for the interests of people with disabilities, Stephan Pöhler, at the award ceremony of the 3rd Saxon Inclusion Prize.
Five outstanding examples of successful inclusion in the categories "Leisure & Culture", "Education", "Accessibility" and two special prizes were honoured under the leitmotif "Inclusive Society in the Social Space". A total of 28 associations, institutions, initiatives and organisations applied for the prize this year. The winners were selected by an independent jury and each prize is endowed with 1,000 euros.
TU Dresden is thus implementing a part of its Diversity Strategy within the framework of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Free State of Saxony.
