In the upcoming summer holidays in Saxony, the Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe (VVO) and the Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe (DVB) have a special offer to all those in possession of a job ticket. In the time period from 18^th July to 30^th August, the normal job ticket is not only valid in the chosen price category, but is valid for all 21 VVO tariff zones. Local trains, S-Bahn trains, trams, buses or ferries can also be used within these zones. In addition, a second adult and no more than four children up to 15 years of age, as well as a bicycle or a dog, can be taken along free of charge. As usual, the job ticket is transferable on weekends and after 6 p.m. and can also be used without the job ticket holder being present under the aforementioned conditions. The Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund (MDV) also offers special conditions for job ticket holders (both normal price and trainee) over the entire summer holiday. For that time period, the ticket is valid on the weekends in the entire MDV zone. From Monday to Friday, job ticket holders can also take up three children and a dog with them throughout the day in their tariff zone(s) - and a further adult from 5 p.m. What is more, two adults and up to three children can use the job ticket on weekends.
