Table of contents
Numerous interested parties at TU Dresden and other institutions are already actively involved in the field of sustainability on both a small and large scale. We have a number of opportunities for networking for you to exchange ideas with other sustainability enthusiasts, find fellow campaigners for your ideas or simply hear what is already underway at TU Dresden. We would like to present some highlights here.
Networking opportunities
Sustainable Coffee Hour
- Target group: all university members
- Participants: People committed to sustainability in the State Capital Dresden, organizations from civil society, the DVB (public transport in Dresden), DRESDEN-concept partners, libraries and museums.
- Objective: accessible, city-wide networking of sustainability actors, organizing joint projects, learning what fellow campaigners are implementing in other institutions and participating in them. Held at different locations.
- What you should bring to the table: An active interest and your own topics - but this is not a must
- Frequency: three to four times a year

Networking meeting for students
- Target group: Students of TU Dresden who are involved in committees and/or university groups
- Participants: students active in committees and university groups
- Objective: Staying abreast of what others are doing, planning projects together, staying in touch and finding out how TUD can provide central support on the topic of sustainability
- What you should bring to the table: An active interest and your own topics - but this is not a must
- Frequency: three to four times a year

regio n - Networking with other Saxon universities
- Target group: for those who actively want to make a difference at Saxon universities
- Participants: Students and employees universities in Saxony who are interested in sustainability and the network n as a moderator
- Objective: Discussing and familiarizing yourself with what others are doing, mutual support
- What you should bring to the table: An active interest in the topic of sustainability
- Frequency: once per year

Become a sustainability ambassador
- Target group: Students who are active in committees and/or university groups, as well as employees
- Participants: all new and existing sustainability ambassadors and the Green Office
- Objective: Empower, network and support people to become sustainability ambassadors in order to work effectively on the topic of sustainability.
- What you should bring to the table: An Interest in promoting the topic of sustainability at TU Dresden and in your organizational unit
- Frequency: every semester

Sustainability breakfast - educational in bite-size portions and talks about the future
- Target group: for students and employees who want to talk about education and/or sustainable nutrition
- Participants: ZLSB, ZfW, ZiLL, Food sharing, Teaching kitchen and the Green Office as well as all anyone interested in education
- Objective: Exchange ideas on all matters relating to education and nutrition over a free, sustainable breakfast
- What you should bring to the table: An active interest as well as ideas & questions about future education at TU Dresden; possibly fruit for the smoothie bike
- Frequency: once per year
- Next date: June 20, 2024, 10 - 12 am, probably on Mommsenstr. in front of the “Alte Mensa” canteen

Network “Education for Sustainable Development”(ESD)
- Target group: for students and employees who are interested in ESD and want to connect to others in the field
- Participants: Educational actors such as ZLSB, ZfW, the Green Office, ZiLL, organizers of student teaching and anyone interested in the topic of ESD
- Objective: Exchange ideas, get to know each other and work on projects together
- What you should bring to the table: An active interest in ESD, possible questions and ideas
- Frequency: no fixed schedule yet, but it is in the planning phase
