The scientific achievements of women and girls at TU Dresden will be honored on February 11, 2023, on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Girls and women in science face many questions: How do I organize my academic career? How do I present myself at symposia? How should I act on committees? How do stays abroad get me ahead? At what stage of my academic qualification does it make sense to start a family? What are my career opportunities? Can I still enter a scientific career after having gained professional experience? Your personal circumstances, your subject and, above all, the funding structures available to you all play a role in answering these questions.

The event on February 11, 2023, in the Zeuner Building is the first annual meeting for networking and conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. Prof. Angela Rösen-Wolff, Vice-Rector Research at TU Dresden, will open the event by addressing different career paths. Afterwards, speakers representing all academic levels of the university will talk about their academic careers and share their experiences.
