When Rashmika Somaroo started studying mechanical engineering in Dresden in 2020, she was eager to get involved as a volunteer. She quickly landed a spot on the welcome tutor team at the Students' Union (Studentenwerk) Dresden. In this episode of "At work with...", she gives us insights into how she and her team support international students during they stay in Dresden.

Rashmika answers questions, helps them upon arrival, interprets, and organizes networking meetings: This always keeps her on her toes. Her favorite thing to do is to organize group events such as mushroom picking and game nights. She tells us all about this and about the recognition she receives for her work in the video.
