TUD campus gains visibility thanks to new campus columns
Sprinkled with residential areas and chopped up by thoroughfares, it is not always easy to see where TU Dresden’s campus begins and how far it extends. For this reason, six-meter-high columns have been erected as campus markers at four bustling campus entrances between Südhöhe and Teplitzer Straße. The aim is to increase the visibility of TU Dresden’s Science and Innovation Campus and DRESDEN-concept network partners within the city. The campus columns were officially unveiled on February 15.
Their design is in keeping with the campus guidance system, elevating brand recognition. The lettering and bright green frame are finished with reflective strips, which bounce light back when illuminated. This means they remain legible even in the dark.
