With 720 runners, TU Dresden had the largest team participating in the 2023 REWE Team Challenge. The university received a REWE shopping voucher worth EUR 720 as a prize, which has now been donated to Tafel Dresden.

The Vice-Rector University Culture, Professor Roswitha Böhm, and her team from University Health Management symbolically handed over the cheque to Anja Hoke, board member of Tafel Dresden, a few days ago. In the subsequent meeting and a short tour of the Tafel building, Prof. Böhm and her team were given an insight into the sometimes physically demanding daily work of the numerous, mostly volunteer helpers.

The food bank receives fewer food donations at the beginning of the year than in summer, so this help is greatly appreciated.

Once again, this year, TUD would like to put together the largest team at the REWE Team Challenge on June 12 and do good with the prize money.
