Görlitz is located in the very east of Saxony - directly on the Polish border. As a result, a very diverse culture has developed in the town over the years. You will stroll through the small, idyllic streets and also see some movie sets, because "Görliwood" has been the setting for many famous movies, like Inglorious Basterds or The Reader. You'll also hear a real Silbermann organ, experience Silesian culture at the museum, and visit the Polish sister city of Zgozelec just a stone's throw away on the other side of the Neisse River.
