Curriculum planning
Curriculum planning is a systematic process in which teachers design and structure their teaching units in advance.
This planning includes, among other things, the definition of learning objectives, the selection of suitable teaching content (if necessary by means of didactic reduction), the determination of teaching methods, the organization of evaluation and feedback as well as the orientation towards competence orientation.
Curriculum planning is based on various criteria, such as the subject area, the teacher's understanding of teaching, the needs of the learners, the teaching resources and the overarching learning objectives.
Effective teaching planning forms the basis for students' learning success.
