"genialsozial - Your work against poverty" - Pupils support at the ZLSB
The idea behind the project is "genialsozial": students from Saxony work for a day in public institutions and donate the money they earn to social projects to support other children around the world and give them (educational) prospects. Four students also visited the ZLSB to make a contribution to the social project.
In public relations, we welcomed two tenth-grade students from the Pestalozzi-Gymnasium in Heidenau. The two students were able to gain their first experience in PR by actively assisting with a video production and evaluating information materials planned for the future.
In the area of inclusion, two fifth-grade pupils from the Tolkewitz grammar school spent a morning working in the teaching-learning room. First, the students were allowed to test the available materials and try out virtual learning. The pupils then created their own "classroom of the future". They also used the Anybookreader to discuss further training material for teachers, demonstrating that technology can not only be used to support learners, but also to activate them.
In the final feedback on the day, one of the learners said: "Today was a bit unusual for me as I had never done anything like this before. It's new for me that this classroom contains virtually all the materials for all subjects. I thought it was cool that we were able to get active ourselves with the VR glasses. It's practical that the e-board is also projected onto the other wall by a projector. I thought today was a very cool day."
