Which study places are available?
Application deadlines:
for all ERASMUS+ and cooperation agreements of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics
Deadline: 31.01. of the year (remaining places according to the first come, first serve principle)
Application documents
- Application portal for ERASMUS places and contacts with contract
- Proof of knowledge of the language of the host country or course language (please check in advance on our homepage or that of the host university whether you meet the language requirements)
- current overview of grades
- for Master's students: Copy of the Bachelor's certificate
- for diploma students: Copy of the intermediate diploma (if available)
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form in German
- Letter of motivation (German, max. A4 page)
Please fill in the online form carefully, as the data will be transferred to us in the form you have entered, i.e. spelling mistakes, e.g. in your address or mistyped telephone numbers, will then also appear in all serial documents that the International Office sends to you or the partner university. Incorrect bank details lead to incorrect transfers of the mobility grant or scholarship, e-mails do not reach you, etc. Please also pay attention to exact capitalization.
You are obliged to enter the dates of your stay precisely so that the funding period and amount can be determined correctly. When completing the form, please also note any missing data that you may receive. Once all mandatory fields in the form have been completed, the "Send" button will appear, which you can use to submit the form. Your application will be automatically saved and sent to the AAA.

General information on applying for a place abroad
- Please inform yourself about the courses offered by the partner university before submitting your application .
( semester dates, application deadline, Erasmus code etc.)
Country information - You apply via the online portal of the International Office Mobility online and can only submit one application per academic year. Submitting multiple applications is not permitted. With your application, you indicate a priority list consisting of three partner universities . If your first choice cannot be considered, a decision on your subsequent priorities will be made in consultation with the other program officers.
- Acceptance is made by the responsible coordinator and is subject to the approval of the partner university.
- You will receive a decision as to whether your application was successful by March 31.
- For most universities, proof of language proficiency in the course language must be submitted with the subsequent application (after our confirmation); the Abitur certificate is generally not accepted.
Decision criteria for the allocation of ERASMUS places
- What previous academic achievements at TU Dresden (and possibly previously at other universities) do you have? How do your academic achievements relate to the duration of your studies to date?
- What language skills do you have? These are crucial for acceptance at the partner university.
- What is your motivation for applying? What are your professional and personal reasons for studying abroad?
- To what extent will studying abroad be a useful addition to your previous studies ?
- Are you socially involved within and/or outside the university?
