Biomedical Genomics group participates in the ScaDS.AI Kick-off Life Science & Medicine
Dr. Anna Poetsch, leader of the Biomedical Genomics group, and Jessica Andrade, a PhD student, recently attended the ScaDS.AI Kick-off Life Science & Medicine event. The event aimed to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among research groups within ScadsAI that focus on life sciences.
ScadsAI's research areas are structured in interrelated focus areas, one of which is Applied Big Data and AI. The kickoff event was held to strengthen this particular area by providing a platform for group leaders and students to meet and get to know each other, share their research results and foster collaboration.
During the event, group leaders and students presented their research results, which covered a wide range of topics in life sciences and medicine, including genomics, bioinformatics, and drug discovery.
