Welcome Eusra Mohammad, our new Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomedical Genomics. With a PhD in Computational Biology and an expert in computational analysis and statistics, she led collaborative projects with insightful multi-omics data interpretation.

We are excited to welcome Vi Dang as our new Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomedical Genomics. With a PhD in genomics from the renowned Pasteur Institute, Vi brings a wealth of expertise to our team. He will now contribute to a project exploring the molecular heterogeneity of sarcomas.

Dr. Anna Poetsch, leader of the Biomedical Genomics group, and Jessica Andrade, a PhD student, attended the ScaDS.AI Kick-off Life Science & Medicine event. The event aimed to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among research groups within ScadsAI that focus on life sciences and Medicine.

Leonie Imberger - 5th year medical student and member of the Biomedical Genomics group at the Biotec Center participated as a moderator on the YOU ASK WE EXPLAIN podcast: Heroes of Research or Guinea Pigs? - A debate about clinical trials.

Dr. Melissa Sanabria was selected in the 2022 call of the Marie Skłodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship program. She will be working on the project GROVER - Natural Language Processing to learn the language of the Human Genome.

Members of the Biomedical Genomics group participated in the 1st Joint MSNZ Symposium in Würzburg. Dr. Anna Poetsch participated as a presenter and moderator. PhD and MD students presented posters about their projects.
