Welcome Vi Dang to our Biomedical Genomics Team!
We are delighted to announce the addition of Vi Dang as our new Postdoctoral Researcher.
In his PhD project, completed at the prestigious Pasteur Institute in Paris, France, he elucidated the prominence, mechanisms, and biological functions of alternative transcription start sites usage in fungal pathogens by interpreting TSS-seq, RNA-seq, and proteomics data.
As part of our team, Vi will be working on an exciting project investigating the molecular heterogeneity of sarcomas and its contribution to therapy resistance in adolescents and young adults. Using cutting-edge multi-omics approaches, Vi will analyze and interpret data obtained from both whole tumors and single cells to delineate tumor evolution, identify subpopulations of cell types, and infer mechanisms of drug resistance. His work is part of the HEROES-AYA consortium and involves close collaboration with scientists from 12 research institutions across Germany.
We are thrilled to have Vi's expertise and enthusiasm on board and look forward to the exciting discoveries and breakthroughs that his work will bring.
