Werner von Siemens Fellows 2025
New generations of talented people in technology research are important for the progress of our society. To promote this, every two years the Werner von Siemens Ring Foundation honors individuals who have already distinguished themselves at the beginning of their careers through remarkable research achievements in future-oriented topics.
As Werner von Siemens Fellows, the selected individuals receive prize money of 10,000 euros. The foundation also facilitates interdisciplinary networking across the boundaries between science and industry. The network of Werner von Siemens Fellows has existed for around 50 years and covers all career stages in a large number of disciplines. It thus offers an excellent opportunity to meet the challenges of our (research) world through exchange and cooperation and to further develop one's own ideas.
The right to nominate Werner von Siemens Fellows lies with the members of the Board of Trustees. The main criterion for nominations is outstanding, application-oriented and future-relevant work in technical research and development. With the Werner von Siemens Fellows, we have the opportunity to demonstrate professional diversity within the technical and natural sciences. The quantum year 2025 can form a content-related bracket for the diverse future topics of the nominees.
Deadline for submission to the University Executive Board: April 16, 2025 to: Office of the Rector/Academic Committees, Mandy Dziubanek, phone 0351 463 37068, e-mail: .
