AI in your studies: work smarter, think critically
Interactive workshop
For our next event on June 11, 2026, we invite you to an interactive workshop on the topic of AI tools in your studies, led by Dr. Anne Jantos from "We explain AI".
You will be able to get to know and try out useful AI tools for your studies using practical examples. What tools are available and what can they actually do for your studies in terms of researching, structuring, programming and understanding?
Experience together where the opportunities and limitations of these tools lie for their application and exchange experiences with each other.
In addition, the topic of AI will also be considered from a meta-perspective: Is there a bias in AI systems, and who is affected by it? What are the social consequences of the widespread use of these technologies? What does academic integrity mean when texts, code and ideas are created with AI support? And how transparent are AI systems actually and how transparent should they be? These questions will be addressed in moderated peer discussions that explicitly focus on your perspectives.
The workshop and exchange will last about 3 hours and will be held in English.
Please bring a laptop or tablet to be able to participate actively.
Location: Andreas-Pfitzmann-Bau, Nöthnitzer Str. 46
Time: 11.06.26, 16:30-19:30
We look forward to seeing you soon!
