Project works / Master's theses
Basis regulations regarding project works and Master's theses
Master's theses can be submitted personally at the Examination Office (on appointment) or via a deadline mailbox between the Tillich-Building and Hülsse-Building.
- Application for a time limit extension for final thesis (to be handed in at least 3 weeks before the initial deadline)
-
Illness/incapacity of working during the Diplom/Master's thesis
The Diplom/Master's thesis is an assessment. If the student is ill while working on his/her thesis, a medical certificate must be presented. The certificate must give the symptoms of the disease. On the basis of these symptoms, the examination board decide whether the student was incapable of working on his/her thesis. If the examination board decide that the student was incapable of working, the student's deadline for handing in the thesis is extended for the time of the recognized sick days (calendar days).

The TU Dresden Writing Center provides advice and assistance for your project works and final theses! Please find here more information and links.
In the following we would like to give you an overview about the institutes and their offered project works / Master's theses.
The list shall be a recommendation. You can, of course, write your project work or Master's thesis at other faculties or institutes - in this case please refer to the study advisor Ms Tetzlaff to ensure that it can be accepted.
Please note: Not all of the webpages informing about possible research projects are available in English language.
