Graduates from foreign Institutions of Higher Education
You did your bachelor's degree outside Germany? You have to apply through ”uni-assist”, a service organization supporting the TU Dresden with processing application documents from international applicants. TU Dresden has commissioned uni-assist (located in Berlin) to receive and examine application documents from applicants who have graduated from non-German secondary schools or institutions of higher education.
In order to apply through uni-assist, please follow these steps:
- Read the instructions carefully that also contain information about the application fee.
- Register with uni-assist.
- After a successful login to uni-assist, create a new application.
- Create and sign your form sheet for the aptitude assessment process.
- Upload the required documents to uni-assist! No hardcopies requires.
- Pay the uni-assist fee timely. Your application will be checked for completeness within 12 weeks after your payment. Only complete applications will be forwarded to the course examination board. The earlier you send the required documents and pay the fee, the more time you will have to hand in documents in case they were missing before the deadline.

Others? Uncertain?
You didn't find the option that fit's your situation best or you're still uncertain? First of all, the majority of our applicants belongs to the first or second group. So, independent of your nationality you should only consider where you did your bachelor's degree. The Double Degree option only applies to one or two out of hundred applications. Hence, if you don't know whether you are a double degree student, you are presumably not.
If you still have no clue, what to choose, please contact our Academic Advisory Services.
