Fouling and Cleaning in Food Processing 2025
The Fouling and Cleaning in Food Processing is an interdisciplinary conference series focusing on the hygienic and sustainable manufacturing of food. It aims to bring together industry and science, e.g. food science, microbiology, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or biotechnology. The conference is intended to support safe and resilient food manufacturing.
The series started 1981 in Lund, Sweden and was later organized for many years until 2014 in Cambridge (UK), before it started touring Europe with events Lund again in 2018, an most recent in Lille (France) in 2022.
Under the motto "Food Safety and Net Zero", the participants of the conference will address this time the question of how hygienic, resistant processing and cleaning processes can be ensured while at the same time minimizing the environmental impact.
