Konrad Grützmann is research associate at the Bioinformatics Core Unit at the Institute for Medical Informatics and Biometry. He works in a BMBF-funded project of the e:Med Junior Research Alliance “MelBrainSys: Model-based prediction and experimental validation of novel therapeutic interventions for melanoma brain metastases“. He develops network-based methods for identification of candidate genes with strong effect on altered key pathways in those metastases. Furthermore, he establishes computer-based methods for the prediction of therapy options.
