career orientation
Career orientation
To make the right choice of study program, it is useful to learn about various career perspectives. During the orientation program, you have the opportunity to gain insights into different professional fields through excursions and visits to fairs (e.g. Branchentreff, Bonding, Karriere mit Geist). Conversations with TU Dresden alumni and workshops on topics such as job market trends and career prospects provide valuable insights into potential career areas. These activities support you in making an informed decision about your studies by showing you how different subjects are linked to future career opportunities. This helps you better assess which study direction best matches your interests and abilities.
Interdisciplinary digital project work
Today's working practice is often characterized by project work. In the orientation course, you will work in an interdisciplinary team to solve a practical task using digital technologies and tools. While working on the task, you can practically apply the interdisciplinary skills acquired in the other components: Teamwork, cooperation and communication skills, independent and structured work. This way, you learn what everyday professional life might look like.
