As a gardener specialising in ornamental plant cultivation in the Botanic Garden, you will be responsible for the professional care of the extensive plant stock and the cultivation of plants for teaching and research. This requires extensive knowledge of the natural sciences. You must know the needs of the individual species and design the cultivation conditions accordingly. In addition, you must be proficient in modern greenhouse and production techniques, but also have manual dexterity and physical fitness.
Requirements
Applicants should be interested in natural history, be able to work under pressure and be flexible. They should also have good grades in science, mathematics and German. A good general education is desirable.
