Occupational Safety
We support – among other things within the scope of inspections – the assessment of working conditions with regard to potential hazards (risk assessment) as well as the establishment of suitable protective measures.
Furthermore, we advise and support regarding
- new legal requirements
- the use and selection of work equipment and personal protective equipment
- the storage and use of working materials (hazardous substances, biological substances)
- structural measures
- the evaluation of occupational accidents
- the organisation and execution of training courses
Cooperation with our safety delegates in the individual organisational units of TU Dresden is particularly important. They support their superiors and colleagues in the successful organisation of occupational health and safety in their own area of work. Due to their specialist and local knowledge, safety delegates can quickly identify hazards in their work area and take action immediately. They can also work directly towards a safety-oriented work ethic of employees and students.
