Apply now to study at TU Dresden: More than 110 degree programs available for the winter semester
As of June 1, prospective students can apply for their chosen degree program at TU Dresden. With 49 undergraduate and 70 postgraduate programs, TU Dresden offers a diverse range of subjects for high school graduates and Bachelor's degree holders.
You can look for your desired degree program now by logging onto the Study Information System (SINS for short) and then apply online. For undergraduate degree programs with restricted admission as well as teacher training programs, the deadline is July 15. You can view the timeline from the submission of your application to the start of your studies here.
For this winter semester, there are no admission restrictions for the following subjects: Biology (Teacher Training at Vocational Schools), Health and Nursing Care (Teacher Training at Vocational Schools), Food Chemistry (State Examination). Moreover, this winter semester will see the launch of a new Master's degree program, Water Security and Global Change, a collaborative project between RWTH Aachen University, TU Dresden and IIT Madras. In addition to natural sciences, engineering sciences, transport and traffic sciences and computer science, TU Dresden's extensive range of courses also includes humanities and social sciences, teacher training courses, business and economics, education, forest sciences, geosciences and hydrosciences. Medicine and psychology round off the courses taught at our university. Unlike many other universities, TU Dresden also offers the Diplom qualification in addition to the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs and the State Examination for a number of subjects.
