DRESDEN-concept tram sets off in August
From 1st August 2018, a DRESDEN-concept branded DVB tram will be running in Dresden. The tram will provide regular transportation for one year, but will also be used for exclusive tours. It will transport residents and visitors through the state capital Dresden and will familiarise them with a research alliance that is unique in Europe.
“With this tram, we would like to inform people about the research alliance and TU Dresden’s current re-application for the University of Excellence title. Through science slams, workshops and customised city tours, Dresden residents and scientists are provided with a dialogue platform and a special event format”, states Prof. Ludwig Schultz, scientific coordinator and head of DRESDEN-concept.
Since the tram will be covering various routes, residents and visitors from all areas will learn about the DRESDEN-concept research alliance on their way through the city.
