TU Dresden image film wins the Golden Remi Award
The English language version of the TUD image film “Incredibly exciting – TU Dresden” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxI7JbK0cbE has received the Golden Remi Award at the 49th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film and Video festival.
The image film, which has been completed in 2015, depicts TUD’s performance in teaching and research. In five subject areas, which are representative of all areas at the university, TU Dresden describes how they are working on a solution for the global problems of mankind. Scientists are giving an insight into their work under the headings "Air to breathe", "Water for life", "Healing the sick", "Acceptance for progress" and "Electronics of the future".
The individual subject areas are set to music in TU Dresden's high voltage hall, performed by the Spanish violinist Elina Rubio.
The image film has been produced by the Dresden-based production company AVANGA.
The WorldFest in Houston is one of the largest and oldest film and video festivals in the world.
