Basic structure of the University

The testing of new organisational structures at Technische Universität Dresden was made possible in order to generate and utilise synergies in teaching, research and administration.

The basic organisational unit of the University is the School, to which faculties belong as subunits.

Central Units have been set up to encourage cooperation between the schools in teaching and research as well as for further education, service and supply tasks.
