Zikaron baSalon on Campus - Talk with Holocaust survivor Renate Aris
On 04.11.2024 at 5 pm, everyone is cordially invited to a special event as part of the "Zikaron baSalon on Campus", at which Holocaust survivor Renate Aris, born in Dresden in 1935, will share her impressive and moving life story with us.
"Zikaron BaSalon" is an intimate form of remembrance that makes it possible to reflect on the Holocaust in a personal and touching atmosphere. In a small circle of listeners, Renate Aris talks about her experiences during the Nazi era, her survival and the challenges of starting again. This encounter offers a rare opportunity to learn first-hand about the horrors and overcoming of this dark time.
The event creates space for open discussions and personal exchange, in which questions can be asked and thoughts shared. It is an evening of remembering, learning and reflecting together.
All participants in the event are responsible for respectful and mindful interaction. Behavior that contradicts this will not be tolerated.
The event takes place in a low-barrier room and in German spoken language. If you are unable to attend due to language or other barriers, please do not hesitate to let us know.
