Every two years, the German-speaking SEUB is held in conjunction with the Dresden Bridge Building Symposium (DBBS).

Call for papers – SEUB 2027

Experimental investigation methods play an important role in assessing the current condition of structures, their current structural safety and remaining service life, condition forecasts, and construction-specific research. The following topics are planned for the 14^th SEUB on Wednesday, March 10, 2027, at Dresden Trade Fair Center:

• Current building investigations,
• New measurement procedures, method development, and digitization,
• Experimental static and structural dynamic short-term and long-term investigations,
• Methods and evaluation of condition, structural safety, and remaining service life,
• Building monitoring, condition prognosis, and (predictive) SHM,
• Normative regulations and guidelines.

Would you like to enrich the 14^th SEUB with your contribution on a specific project, an innovative procedure, new and forward-looking methods, findings from science and research, or innovations in guidelines and standards? • Abstract submission: by August 21, 2026
• Decision on acceptance of contributions: September 2026
• Submission of your finished contribution: mid-November 2026

Before submitting your application, please check whether you can meet the deadline for data delivery and whether you are permitted to publish the intended content. The publication will be available in printed conference proceedings and open access on the Qucosa® university publication server.
