International Study Programmes
The five faculties of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering offer a growing number of advanced international degree programs. These primarily include English-language Master's courses, joint and double degrees with renowned international partner universities, including Erasmus Mundus programs, as well as courses with a specific development focus and funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD/EPOS).

General information
Erasmus+ is the largest exchange program for students and graduates of all subjects. Please inform yourself in advance about available Erasmus exchange places (or any remaining places) and note the application deadlines of your faculty. When planning, please also consider whether you meet the subject and language requirements.
In preparation for a stay abroad, whether as part of Erasmus or another program, there are a number of questions that the contact persons at your Institute or at the International Office will be happy to answer.

- Advanced Computational and Civil Engineering Structural Studies (ACCESS) - English-language Master's degree program
- Double degree program with the Institute National des Sciences Appliquées Strasbourg (INSA) and the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie Paris (ESTP) in France under the auspices of the Franco-German University and with the Università degli Studi di Trento in Italy

- Water Security and Global Change - joint Master's program with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) (India) and RWTH Aachen University
- Integrated Management of Water, Soil and Waste - joint doctoral program with the Dresden Institute for Integrated Material Flow and Resource Management of the United Nations University (UNU-FLORES)
- Resource Nexus for Sustainability Transformations (NEXtra) - doctoral program in cooperation with UNU-FLORES and the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER)
- Centre for International Postgraduate Studies of Environmental Management (CIPSEM) - This institution within the Faculty of Environmental Sciences is responsible for implementing the international postgraduate programme in environmental management for developing countries of the partner organizations UNEP, UNESCO and BMUV.
