Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
We want to know in which courses you have got the proficiency. Please give this information in the application form on page 5 and 6 or in the uni-assist portal and add the course descriptions of these courses and a transcript showing the grade for these courses to your application. If you have more than two courses related to one topic, please select the two most important ones. (If you have successfully finished the advanced course, we are sure that you have successfully finished the basic course also.) The course descriptions are the official documents for the course. In Europe that are the module descriptions, see our module descriptions. If you don't have such descriptions in your country, please send us the tables of content of these courses.
On the Internet, you can find programs that allow you to merge multiple PDF file in one file. One example is PDFsam. You can print or export files that are not a PDF file yet into a PDF file. Free programmes are e.g. PDFcreator or Bullzip. With LibreOffice, you can export PDF files from Word files. Another option is to use PDFLaTeX (e.g. MiKTeX or TeXLive). Here you can find a file package that allows you to merge all your PDF, JPG and PNG file to one PDF file.
The first point is to use as less as possible scanned files. This files are huge mostly. Scan documents carefully. Not the highest resolution is required. Try to scan with gray colors only. You should print or export all files that you have as text file into a PDF file directly. Also picture files should be a useful picture resolution.
