On the 16th and 17th of June in 2016 the 6th Research Festival within the Collaborative Research Center  (CRC) 912 - HAEC took place. Once again, the whole scientifical staff came together at Best Western- Hotel Lichtenwalde surrounded by a historical atmosphere and the Castle of Lichtenwalde. After a Kick-Off, given by the speaker of the CRC Prof. Gerhard Fettweis, the different working groups met to discuss problems and to present the results of the last year.

For the first time, an extern expert, who is working for the Sächsische Landesbibliothek –
Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Dresden (SLUB), took part in the reunion by giving a talk. He informed the researchers about their possibilities regarding working with Open Access. Afterwards, a closing poster session took place which finished the official part of the first day. The great dinner gave the staff the chance to unite research and personal interests.

The second day started with a diverse breakfast. Strengthened, the complete team came together to present the various results of the different fields - Hardware, Architecture and Software - which had been won within the last two days. Furthermore, all had the chance to gave feedback. The research festival was finished by a closing discussion.
