From the 19th to the 20th of June 2014 the Research Festival of the Collaborative Research Center 912 - HAEC took place for the 4th time. The research staff came together at Bio Seehotel which is situated in the quite surrounding of the Zeulenrodaer Talsperre. The aim of the workshop was to discuss and plan the upcomming time period.

First of all, a follow-up request as well as a second funding period had been discussed. A period which will start on the first of July 2015 and will end on the 30th of June 2019 had been defined. In the wake of this, more projects were added to the already existing width of projects. Furthermore, their principal investigators (PIs) had been added to the researcher community.

At the first day, talks were given by members of the three different areas - Software, Hardware and Architecture. Those shall be reformated within the second funding period. The same is planned for the different projects, which had been presented by a poster session. Additionally, already achieved results as well as future orientations of them were shown. The further work on the research project and the integration of the new founded projects had been discussed.

On the second day, without any exception the researchers talked about the possibilities of cooperations between their projects. The discussion regarding the involvement of new projects in the already existing group of projects was determined by the fruitful results of the day before. Therewith, the staff of the collaborativ research center had the chance to create a new matrix of cooperations.
