Research Festival 2017
The Research Festival of the Collaborative Research Center 912 - Highly Adaptive Energy-Efficient Computing (HAEC for short) was held for the seventh time on June 8 and 9, 2017. Once again, all participating researchers met to work through upcoming topics in the near future.
This year's venue was the Parkhotel Meißen in Meissen. First, the team started the outward journey from TU Dresden. After arrival and check-in at the hotel, the staff came together to hear the introductory words of the spokesman of the Collaborative Research Centre, Prof. Gerhard Fettweis. After a coffee break, the attendees shared their topics (software, hardware, architecture) and discussed and informed each other about the current state of affairs and future projects. Subsequently, either in smaller groups as well as in plenary the scientists talked about the upcoming plans and visions regarding research phase three.
On the second day, the 9th of May, the staff presented the different areas and their results. Those presentations have been followed up by informationexchanges and discussions. Finally, Prof. Fettweis finished the research festival with some closing words before the return journey started.
