Equipment for instrumental chemical analyses
The development of new materials and products as part of industrial research is based on analytics ensuring process reliability and quality control. In our laboratory, all types of textile materials can be characterized in terms of surface and interface properties. Furthermore, thermal properties as well as corresponding changes of state can be determined for polymer materials. Our equipment includes a scanning electron microscope QUANTA FEG 250 in addition to the functionalization and measurement methods listed below.

Moreover, state-of-the-art nanoanalytical equipment is available at one of TUD´s central facilities called Dresden Center for Nanoanalysis (DCN), including transmission electron microscopes, X-ray microscropes, and acoustic atomic force microscopes.
