Active Recruitment
The aim of active recruitment is to noticeably increase staff diversity in applications of chairs and the share of previously under-represented groups in this career stage. For this purpose, web-based offers (databases, mailing lists) are used for the search and networks of multipliers of relevant institutions are activated at adjunct institutions.
The increase of the proportion of women at TU Dresden's chairs has highest priority in the context of the enforcement of the equality directive. Currently, the share of women professor is 15%. As an ambitious target, the equality concept (2018) names a woman share of 23-29% for 2030.
The responsible person for Active Recruiting advises and supports the faculties, in particular the Appointment Commissions
- with the search after and the establishment of contact to scientists, who are directly invited to apply, and
- with the search for chair deputies, evaluators and mentors.
