CODIP
As a research center, we are interested in how digital media and tools can be used for teaching, learning and research, and how their use changes the world of work and everyday life. With over 50 employees, we conduct interdisciplinary research into digital media and tools and develop suitable concepts, educational programs and digital applications. We set and pursue research and development topics both independently and in alliances with partners from TU Dresden, the whole of Germany and 15 countries worldwide.
We organize our work in thematic research groups. Open discourse is important to us, which is why we communicate through various channels: We publish papers for various target groups, run a blog "Digital for all", among other things, and organize thematically focused events. Our projects are financed by various funding bodies. We are also the founding department of the Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences (CIDS).

We offer a variety of opportunities for qualification. From bachelor's and master's theses in a project context to doctoral studies in cooperation with the Faculty of Education, we support students and researchers.
