Financial difficulties should not be an obstacle to enrollment in the Orientation Program. Therefore, there will be the possibility to apply for a scholarship of 300 euros per semester. The sum corresponds approximately to TU Dresden's semester fee.
General information
- The scholarship is independent of other income. It is not offset against BAföG and is tax-free.
- The scholarships are financed by (supra-)regional companies.
- The selection of applicants is made by the staff of the Orientation Program in cooperation with the sponsors.
- The expected number of scholarships available has not yet been determined, as scholarships are still being acquired.
- There is no legal claim to the granting of a scholarship.
Who can apply?
All prospective students who are about to start the Orientation Program at the TU Dresden can apply.
Prospective students participating in a one-semester OSM can receive a scholarship for a maximum of one semester. Prospective students participating in a two-semester OSM can receive a scholarship for a maximum of two semesters.
How to apply?
For a complete application, the following documents should be sent by e-mail to :
- application form incl. letter of motivation (The form template will be published on this page soon).
- certificate of university entrance qualification (scan)
Application documents that are not submitted in due time or form as well as incomplete application documents cannot be considered in the selection process.
Until when can one apply?
Those who would like to participate in the Orientation Program in the winter semester 2024/25 can send their application for a scholarship to by 30.09.2024.
Prospective students who would like to take part in the Orientation Program in the winter semester 2024/25 can apply for one of five "Deutschlandstipendien". A "Deutschlandstipendium" includes funding of 300 euros per month.
Application period: 1 to 15 July 2024
