TU Dresden provides divers employment opportunities for non-academic staff. The broad spectrum offered includes work in technical areas, in the administration or even in gardening.
Technical staff
For technical staff there are work opportunities in the different TU Dresden workshops. This work is frequently tied into research projects and supports the scientific research work or teaching. This provides the possibility to be actively involved in cutting-edge research and development as well as technological innovation. Technical staff can work in central and decentral administration units. The IT department provides a multitude of interesting employment opportunities, e.g. at the Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences (CIDS).
Administrative jobs
For skilled administrative personnel TU Dresden also offers numerous job opportunities in its central and decentral units such as administrative work in institutes, departments, deans’ offices, schools and directorates. The spectrum of work in the administrative jobs comprises many different areas e.g. finance, procurement, controlling, legal affairs, HR, academic affairs, planning, legal affairs, technology, security, transfer, research promotion, property management, organisation and process management, student affairs and continuing education.
Since TU Dresden as a public corporation is bound by a collective wage agreement, the employment relationship is subject to the collective agreement of the Federal states (TV-L). The employment of non-academic staff at TU Dresden entitles to an occupational pension provision of the civil service.
