Sponsorship for a campus bench
The foundation of sponsored objects on the campus is part of the campus design master plan. The Institute of Landscape Architecture, the Institute of Transport Planning and Road Traffic and the Directorate Facility Management were jointly commissioned by the University Executive Board to develop a master plan for the outdoor spaces on the TU Dresden campus. The aim was to further develop this space in the center of Dresden as a place with a high quality of stay. Although the TU campus is the ninth largest in Germany in terms of area, most of it was only perceived functionally as a place of learning, research or work.
The installation of benches as a meeting point, a place for communication or a place to pause for a moment represents another milestone in the implementation of the campus design master plan.
