Quality Management Administration
Within the framework of the third programme phase of the Excellence Initiative of the Federal and State Governments (2012-2017), TUD was successful with its entire application. Quality and change management is a field of action within TUD‘s Institutional Strategy "the Synergetic University".
The "Quality Management Administration" measure underlines our university's commitment to "efficiency, transparency and synergies" combined with the "optimisation of resource allocation and processes". The systematic and sustainable elimination of structural and organisational weaknesses, which are deemed as inhibiting innovation and excellence, is to be achieved through the systematic implementation of the concept for quality management administration that is tailored to the specific requirements of TU Dresden. The aim is to establish a performance-enhancing environment for all members of the university.
It is for this reason that Unit Processes and Organizational Management was established.
For us, knowledge builds bridges means that clearly defined processes with clearly regulated responsibilities and transparent interfaces connect the activities of all TU members and their partners and constitutes a goal-orientated benefit for Technische Universität Dresden. We regard the introduction of a process management system as an essential cornerstone for the "Quality Management Administration".
- The main focus of our work lies in the area of central university administration.
- The design of efficiently integrated information management provides room for manoeuvre .
- The identification and implementation of necessary organisational changes, the application of appropriate modern and digital technologies as well as the use of synergetic advantages between research, teaching and university management are the focus of process design.
