The quality management of the TU Dresden is under the leadership of the rectorial board and will be implemented in closely cooperation with the faculties.

By proxy of the rectorial board the task lies in the responsibility of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.

The fundamental principle of quality management at TU Dresden is to plan and control the quality of teaching and learning on the basis of quality objectives and the principles of quality management. The implementation of the objectives is measured and checked by various indicators, instruments and procedures on the basis of the university's internal quality control loop. If necessary, appropriate measures are taken to improve the quality of teaching and learning and their impact is evaluated.
