University Culture in detail
University Culture is a topic that affects the entire university. The strategic goals are pursued by the Vice-Rectorate of University Culture alongside Directorate 9 and many other actors at TUD Dresden University of Technology:
- We would like to emphasize and further develop the variety of perspectives at TUD, as they result from different professional expertise, gender identity, membership of an age group, social background, family responsibilities or from a life with a disability or chronic illness. It enriches research, education and campus life.
- As a modern employer, we would like to offer attractive working conditions to all employees of TU Dresden and thus promote, develop and integrate their potential. To this end, we further develop a work organization, management culture, and spatial and social offers.
- We develop a university culture that is characterized by transparency, appreciation, creative innovation and participation. To this end, we create a campus life with spaces and formats of encounter based on democratic values and a commitment to ecological sustainability.
- We increase the recognition and impact of TU Dresden in society, politics and economy. As a social actor, the university contributes to public discourse and the improvement of the living environment in the region.
