Projects and Research
As an interdisciplinary institution, the ZLSB coordinates cross-disciplinary and cross-faculty research and development projects in teacher education at TU Dresden. The ZLSB’s portfolio of research supporting teacher education includes empirical studies on various stages of the professional development of prospective teachers—from the start of their studies to the practice of their profession. In doing so, the ZLSB focuses both on the standard two-phase teacher education program and on alternative pathways into the teaching profession (lateral entry and career changers).
