- Saxon Scholarship Program
The Free State of Saxony provides funding for the promotion of PhD students for up to three years. The grant amounts to EUR 1,500 per month plus family allowance of EUR 100 for each dependent child (if applicable).

Application deadline: currently not known - Maria Reiche Doctoral Fellowships (without Faculty of Medicine)
Within the Maria Reiche Doctoral Fellowships (without Faculty of Medicine), grants up to three years can be awarded for women working on their doctoral degree. The monthly rate amounts to EUR 1,500. In addition, a monthly family allowance of EUR 400 for the first child and EUR 100 for each further child will be awarded.

- Grants for the Completion and Wrap-up Phase
These grants support doctoral candidates for up to three months during the completion and wrap-up phase of their doctorate. The bridging period enables researchers to finish their PhD, but also to publish their results and to prepare an application for a postdoctoral position. The monthly grant for PhD students amounts to EUR 1,500 and for postdoc students to EUR 1,750 plus a non-personnel cost subsidy as well as a family allowance, if the latter is applicable.

This grant aims to support the visibility of the research achievements of doctoral candidates and postdocs. For this purpose, the Graduate Academy of TUD grants allowances for proofreading services (German or English) for foreign-language publications of doctoral candidates of TUD.

The Maria Reiche Postdoctoral Fellowships support excellent female postdocs in their intention to independently acquire a third-party funded project in order to qualify for a scientific career at TUD with the goal of becoming a professor.
Eligibility:
young female scientists who have completed their doctorate no longer than six years ago

The aim of the program is to support outstanding early career researchers (postdocs) at an early stage in their research career in developing and sharpening their scientific profile and to qualify them for further scientific career paths.

The GA funding program Lab2Lab promotes the exchange and lively collaboration of early career researchers based on the cooperation of international working groups (AGs).
Eligibility: Professors / Young Investigators of TUD together with a professor from the working group abroad and an early career researcher (doctoral candidate or postdoc) as the main contact person within the working group at TUD.

Further funding offers of TUD
The Dresden Fellowship Program focuses on inviting international scholars to conduct joint research and teaching at TU Dresden.
For up to six months, young researchers can be funded as Dresden Junior Fellows and established researchers as Dresden Senior Fellows. With both program lines, TU Dresden aims to attract scientific talents at senior and early-career level.

The Eleonore Trefftz Program at TU Dresden makes temporary stays possible for visiting women scientists who represent their subject in teaching and research at a respective faculty. Female professors, junior professors and junior researchers who are at least at an advanced stage of their postdoc can hold visiting professorships for 3 to 12 months researching and teaching.
Eligibility: any Faculty or Central Academic Unit with appointment rights

ERASMUS teaching stays and further education measures abroad support the internationalization of universities at all levels and contribute to the professional development of university staff. Mobile scientists use a teaching stay to strengthen the international exchange and cooperation in the departments, impart special expertise to students, and also become more familiar with partner universities in Europe and around the globe. They also gain new perspectives with a further education stay on the basis of a coordinated program. The focus is on professional exchange and the strengthening of one’s own expertise as well as the expansion and deepening of networks.

The Funding Program for Eastern Partnerships supports research and cooperation projects with eight selected universities in Central and Eastern Europe. The International Office has limited DAAD funding available to initiate and support research and cooperation projects with the following universities:

The funds are to serve in particular as start-up financing for larger projects by the EU, German Research Foundation (DFG), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), or similar in the future. Funding can be provided for travel expenses of TU Dresden university members to the named universities and for accommodation expenses of members of these universities at TU Dresden.
The Association supports early-career researchers at TU Dresden with scholarships for up to six months as well as mobility grants for conference trips and short research stays abroad. Funding for visiting researchers from abroad can also be applied for.
