Textile-physical testing instruments
Our textile testing laboratory enables physical investigations of fibers/filaments, yarns, fabrics and structural components. Tests are conducted in air-conditioned laboratories in a standard atmosphere according DIN EN ISO 139.
We offer standard tests following general norms; in addition, customised tests under selected testing conditions depending on the client can be conducted as well. In case specific testing or problem solving is required within research projects or during production processes, the textile testing laboratory of ITM offers consulting services.
In addition to commercial instruments as part of the standard equipment of a textile testing laboratory, we are also equipped with further instruments – designed and constructed at ITM – for more specific tests.
